cup of tea guesthouse takes its name from the traditional Japanese culture. Established at the beginning of 2018, the hostel offers guests the chance to see and experience real-life Japan.
There is the chance to mingle with other travelers as well as the local community and participate in traditional activities seeing Japanese culture first hand.
After a full day of sightseeing and new experiences, weary travelers can enjoy a long soak in a traditional Japanese bath house to replenish their bodies and then retire to a comfortable bed.
This hostel is a convenient base for traveling around Takayama, allowing easy access to the beautiful serene scenery of the countryside in Japan.

cup of tea : guesthouse does not have large bath-tub. However Yutopia Spa House, 80 years-old local community bathhouse is located in front of the guesthouse.
Our guests can use the bathhouse at a discount rate.
